The Family Orthodox Synagogue
of the North Shore

At Kehillat Masada we provide a warm family orientated service suitable for all levels of Jewish Orthodox tradition. We strive to offer a one family service encompassing all the needs of all age groups, offering a comfortable, fun and spiritual service to all members and friends. 

It was only 18 short years ago that Kehillat Masada was born, with just 16 families congregating every Shabbat in a family home.

This rapidly evolved in1987 to 250 families congregating every Shabbat in a school classroom, growing in the 1990’s to over 340 families attending services within the Pelerman Centre.

Now, in 2007, as our community continues to grow, over 470 families will enjoy the benefit, both now and in the future, of new, expanded and improved facilities to service the needs of both our loyal adult congregants and our ever emerging youth.

Our new Synagogue has been built by the community. It is a facility that has been born out of a vision that embraces the future growth of our community, the evolution of our youth – it is a facility to be shared by both the young and old. It’s our future.
